Eucalan Wool Wash

Eucalan Wool Wash is our favorite and ONLY thing we use to wash our cloth diaper wool covers. It is non-toxic, biodegradable, phosphate free and Canadian made!

Eucalyptus No Rinse Delicate Wash is Eucalan's original scent. First introduced in 1989, it is scented using essential oil of eucalyptus. Eucalyptus oil is a natural moth and flea inhibitor, so use Eucalan Eucalyptus regularly on woolens and particularly before storing them for the season. The lanolin enriched formula helps to naturally condition fibres and keep static away. Use on all your delicates like sweaters, lingerie, hosiery, comforters, down jackets, bathing suits and baby items, including wool diaper covers!

Grapefruit No Rinse Delicate Wash is scented using essential oil of grapefruit. Grapefruit oil is a natural antiseptic which is particularly nice when washing garments that lie close to the skin like hosiery, workout wear, bathing suits, lingerie and wool diaper covers! The lanolin enriched formula helps to naturally condition fibres and keep static away. Use on all your delicates and enjoy the fresh light scent.

How to Use Eucalan Wool Wash on your Wool Diaper Covers
Before you begin: If this is the first time you have washed the article and the article contains more than one colour, ensure it is colourfast before immersing in water. To test for colourfast: dampen white 100% cotton cloth and press against coloured area. If colour transfers on to the white cloth, the article is not colourfast and should not be immersed in water. If it is immersed, the colours may run into one another.

Hand Wash:

Add Eucalan to basin. Use 5mL/1 tsp per 4L/1G of water (more for heavily soiled items)
Fill basin with tepid (warm) water.
Insert article and soak for 15 minutes (minimum)
Squeeze article gently to incorporate water and soap through fibres.
Pull article out of water and squeeze out excess water. Do not twist.

Drying:

Important: Dry all items out of direct heat and sunlight.
Lay knit articles flat on clean dry towel.
Roll article in towel to remove excess moisture.
OR put in washer on spin cycle.
Lay flat to dry on drying rack or clean dry towel.
