Hi, my name is Pam Doerksen. And my name is Pam Doerksen. What?? That’s right, we both have the same name (no relation, though). So, around here you’ll hear us refer to ourselves as Pam J and Pam C, which are our middle initials. But our names aren’t the only thing we have in common. We both have a love of cloth diapers, and a desire to work from home while raising our kids. So, after much dreaming, and many work/play dates (work for us, play for our kids!), we are pleased to bring you Tiny TreeHugger. We hope you find the products you are looking for, as well as the support you need as a cloth-diapering parent! Thanks for stopping by!
All About Pam J
I am a mom to three boys – a hat trick, a friend of Jesus and wife to an amazing man! The youngest two boys, ages 2 and a lil babe are in cloth. I came across cloth while pregnant at a baby show, where a demonstrator was doing her spiel on how easy, great and cheap it was to do. It still didn’t convince me. In my mind, I was still thinking pins and plastic pants. NO THANKS! It wasn’t until I was in my last trimester of pregnancy, two and a half years ago, that I started looking more into it and realized there was a lot more options, like snaps and Velcro, even something called pocket diapers! WOW
To be honest, I was overwhelmed by all the information but quickly quite a few moms around that had experienced cloth diapering and were so helpful! I ordered my first sample pack with 5 different kinds of pocket diapers, and also a prefold package that included covers and a Snappi. I knew that newborns went through a lot of diapers and was prepared to give them a try!
The rest, as they say, is history. My curiosity turned into a love for cloth, which influenced friends to try it, and is now being turned into this business where Pam C and I can share it with more than just immediate friends - people like you!
I really hope that you can find what you are looking for on our website. And if not, email me or Pam C and we will see what we can do! We aim to please our customers and want you to keep coming back and also tell your friends about us!

All About Pam C
I have been a mother for about a year, and it is by far the best job I’ve ever had. I’ve had ups and downs with my daughter, but she is definitely a blessing to me. I’ve used cloth diapers since she was about 5 months old. It took a while to convince me, but now I’m sold!
I used to think of cloth as some archaic method of diapering, something that my grandmother would’ve done. I wouldn’t have even given cloth diapers a second thought, if not for my friend Pam J. She asked me if I was planning to use cloth diapers or disposables while I was pregnant, and I said “disposables.” Honestly, the thought of washing dirty diapers grossed me out, and really, did anyone actually use cloth diapers anymore??
After my daughter was born, we used disposables, but cloth was always in the back of my mind. I’m a bit of a “treehugger” myself and I felt bad about the amount of waste we were creating. However, cloth seemed confusing and overwhelming and I didn’t have the time (or energy!) to figure it out, and take care of a newborn. So, after a few months (and a bit more sleep), I went back to my friend Pam J and asked for some advice. She helped me figure out the “lingo” of cloth, and even lent me a few diapers to try out. I wasn’t an instant convert, but eventually I found the diapers that I liked, and fit my daughter well. Almost all the diapers I use are one-size pockets, but occasionally I also use all-in-ones, and old-fashioned flat diapers with covers.
Making the switch to cloth can be difficult, especially given the “disposable” mind-set that is so prevalent today. A good support system can make all the difference (it did for me), and I hope that we can provide that for you, our customers. Happy diapering!
